WE SPEAK UP TO PROTECT ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN.
The administrative agent for Fillmore County CASA is Head Start CFDP. Funds raised by Fillmore County CASA are used for – and remain within – the CASA account. CASA is also afforded use of the 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status as a subsidiary of Head Start.
Fillmore County CASA engages in resource development and fundraising activities including grant applications. If a conflict arises regarding applying for grants or fundraising activities, the Executive Director of Head Start and the president of the Fillmore County CASA Board of Supervisors make the final determinations.
Your donations are needed
We work with some remarkable children and families in our foster care and juvenile court system and would not be able to do so without the generous support of our community.
Being a nonprofit organization, CASA relies solely on County funds allotted yearly, along with grants and donations. Without these funding resources, the CASA program would not be able to operate efficiently.
Your donation will help cover costs incurred by volunteers including background screenings, training manuals, mileage reimbursement and other necessities like marketing, recruitment, advertising and ongoing educational expenses for volunteers.
